Riders Varden: Amerylis Roran (open) Rayane Madic One free egg Empire Two free eggs Verin Emily Murtagh Galbatorix (open) Undecided Three free eggs Cadelen	Plot Alagaesia is in turmoil, The Varden and The Empire are fighting for dominance of a land ravaged by war. However, the plot begins to thicken as Galbatorix makes a discovery in the catacombs beneath Uru’baen. He has found the legendary Vault of Souls in the area that was once Ilerea. Frantic after learning of the discovery, the Varden send Eragon to Du Weldenvarden to continue training under Oromis. In Ellesmera, under the Menoa Tree, he discovers and egg and entrusts it with the elves. During his training he returns to Du Fells Nangoroth- The Blasted Mountains-. Among the cracked eggs shells from dragons of centuries past, two eggs are recovered. Ecstatic, Eragon returns with them. They too are kept with the elves. Ian walked towards the docks. Ian thought that he would do some great evil to the Varden by getting the pirates to attack them. He would unite them in a sneak attack at one of the Varden's docks.

As Ian walked closer towards the docks, he could smell the salt water, the fish, the ale from the nearby tavern, and the smoke of pipe weed. All these aromas were sweet to his nose. This town was only a little way from his home town.

Ian knew that the pirates were not known for their loyalty, but Ian wanted to put a spell on them to make them more, open to his thoughts. Ian had a way of making people open to his thoughts.

Ian was close to the pirates and he stopped. He stared up at the huge boat. Its sails looked old and worn. The ship itself was also old and needed repairing. Ian stood for a moment to see the gigantic ship.
